• Check if the kind of light you need is low light or bright. Another factor is to understand how much charge does it take. Some lights take full charge others needless and work wonderfully as low lights

 

• Check running time. Some solar lights work all year round, some need a charge every few days. Some can go on for weeks at a time.

• Clean your panels. If there is dust or dirt on your panel it will prevent it from charging fully. Make sure it’s fixed and is clean once in a while.

 

• They do not work nicely in winters and rainy weather, so you might want to keep them inside during that season. They are waterproof but keeping them out during heavy rain or snow isn’t the best option.
